September\u2019s styling season is in full swing \u2013 the time of year when we start considering more than cushions and candles (though we never stop loving those). This month, we\u2019re sharing the homewares and furniture we\u2019re coveting \u2013 the small details and bigger investments that are making our spaces feel like home as we settle into spring. Enjoy.<\/p>\n

\nFirst things first, I will be buying another freezer cube set from Seed & Sprout<\/a>. I have one already and it\u2019s seriously helped me cut down on food waste and get leftovers into the freezer. It helps you freeze the perfect portions for a next-day lunch. Game changer. I was kindly gifted this beautiful Fazeek vase<\/a> which perfectly matches my Virgo proclivities. I love it. The 2026 Halliday Wine Companion<\/a> is out, I buy it every year and this will be no different. I also want a new set of salad servers. I bought all new plates last month and these Gohar World servers<\/a> will be the perfect match. And finally, I need a top up of my favourite Aesop hand wash<\/a>. I think it\u2019s such a nice touch if you entertain regularly, people always comment on how nice the hand soap is!<\/p>\n

\nFor many years I have had a 70s velvet bedroom set (with built in radio, of course) but it might be time to look for a new bed, whilst not within my price range I adore the Arflex Palazzo Bed<\/a>, however, the McMullin Barnaby Bed<\/a> is just as inviting in a different way and I love the tone of the deep brown. A new bed would also mean a new chair for my dressing table so I would love this from Tamsin Johnson<\/a> and if the radio is going perhaps I need a Bang and Olufsen speaker<\/a> to replace it? Especially as you can wallmount it. Chic. Everyone knows that the kitchen is my happy place and it really is time to update my dinnerware setting, and I love the Wedgwood Renaissance mixed dinnerware<\/a> in blue and red, it has the most adorable soup spoons. But then, a more contemporary dinner set by Georg Jensen<\/a> is also very tempting. Our beloved french press decided to crack on us so I love the idea of replacing it with this by Service Projects<\/a>. Just for the sake of beauty, I love this pierced pearl vase<\/a> by completedworks. I would fill it weekly.<\/p>\n

\nA pesto candle? Count me in. I\u2019m all for a strange scent (LOEWE obvs pioneered that with its tomato leaf and mushroom candles), but now we have Flamingo Estate\u2019s new Green Goddess Candle<\/a> (quoted as \u201cis a radiant, wild thing: curling with the aroma of fresh Mint, bright Pea Tendrils, African Rosemary, and moist Basil.). It\u2019s topping my wishlist right now. Equally as chic is this Cutlery Set by Architect Carla Nencioni & Armando Moleri for Zani & Zani<\/a>. The Alessi Il Conico Kettle<\/a> is a dream list item forever. And how mesmerising are these Justine Menard Orph\u00e9e Liqueur Glasses<\/a>? A dream.<\/p>\n

\nI\u2019ve found myself wanting to shuffle things around at home recently and I\u2019ve been eyeing this blue linen duvet cover from Bed Threads<\/a> for ages. The Coast<\/i> shade has that lived-in vibe I want in my bedroom. I also keep thinking about these Maison Balzac candles<\/a> which would pair so nicely with a set of vintage holders I picked up recently. Anyone who has been inside my apartment is aware that my kitchen appliances are in need of an upgrade and I think the upgrade needs to begin with this steel coffee machine by Breville<\/a>. I am also in the process of dissecting the art of hosting and this tray from Dinosaur Designs<\/a> needs to be on display as does this oil cruet by Le Creuset<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nSpring weather means an outdoor reset for me this month, and while our apartment balcony is somewhat limited, it doesn\u2019t mean I have to compromise on creativity. I\u2019m loving the idea of one \u2018larger\u2019 lounge chair (for morning and afternoon reading in the sunshine), and this MCM House lounger<\/a> from the new DELL’ORO collection caught my eye. You wouldn\u2019t be able to pull me away from it. I\u2019m also looking for easy ways to elevate the furniture I already have, and one area that desperately needs help is my entry way. I love big sculptural flowers, and this hand-made sculpture by Julia Freiseisen<\/a> that I found on Kerrie-Ann Jones\u2019 website would be the perfect vessel. Finally, there\u2019s nothing that says a change of season like a change of cushions to freshen up your living space, and these striped pieces I spotted at Cultiver are high on my wishlist. I particularly love the Mira linen cushion cover in Enzo<\/a> and Mira lumbar cushion cover in Rafa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nI recently got my hands on the Our Place Titanium Pro Always Pan\u00ae Duo<\/a> and I\u2019ve never had cookware this chic and robust. I\u2019ll never go back. I\u2019ve been doing my best to up my organisation game of late. Mustard Made\u2019s The Storyboard wall planner + Buttons<\/a> has been my go-to for not only moodboarding my life and upcoming creative projects, but also organising my week. Having that physical touchpoint of seeing what is upcoming is very useful. I went with the Chalk colour<\/a> and a few different colours for buttons. I have a couple of Aesop restocks in my cart: The Aesop Reverence Aromatique Hand Wash<\/a> is my favourite exfoliating handwash and I need to replenish my incense drawer as I am running dangerously low. The Aesop Kagerou Aromatique Incense<\/a> is one of my favourites. I\u2019ve been eyeing this Knit Coat Rack from HAY<\/a> for a while \u2013 it would be perfect in my entry \u2013 I just need to decide on what colour. And lastly, I\u2019d love to pick up this yellow butter dish from Le Creuset<\/a> (currently on sale, so I must).<\/p>\n
